Can you believe it? This is our sixteenth Year Anniversary of the Daniel Health Challenge, originally called, Daniel’s Diet. Congratulations are in order. Yes!
God downloaded the Challenge in our spirits in 2009. The purpose was to give individuals a chance to jump start their health at the beginning of the year, with the hope that they would make the Healthy Diet a Lifestyle.
It was also designed to give church members the opportunity to meet some felt needs of their communities.
Hundreds of individuals throughout the USA and other countries have done the Challenge and reported normalizing their Health numbers, as well as, looking and feeling great.

Healing Scriptures, Meditation & Prayers
DAY 1
1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Prayer
Dear God, thank you for reminding me that my body is Your Holy Temple where Your Spirit dwells. So, my body is sacred. It is just as sacred as the Holy Places in our Churches, Temples, Mosques and Synagogues that are made with men’s hands. Because my body is Your Holy Temple. By your grace, from this day onwards, I place the best food in my body and the most positive and uplifting thoughts in my mind. I treat and take the best care of my body. In the name of Jesus. Amen!
DAY 2
3 John 2
Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospers.
Prayer
Dear God, I acknowledge and believe that Your highest wish for me is to prosper materially, have a healthy body and mind, even as my soul and personal relationship with You gets better and better every day. Thank you for this precious and powerful promise, Lord! In Jesus Name. Amen.
DAY 3
Jeremiah 30:17
But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the LORD, because you are called an outcast… Zion for whom no one cares.
Prayer
Thank you, O great God, for restoring my health and healing me of all the wounds and pains that unhealthy habits and practices have caused me. I am so happy that You care about my health. Give me the power today to walk in obedience to Your Laws of Health, so I will experience Your promise of Healing and Restoration. Thank you! In Jesus name.
DAY 4
John 10:10
The thief does not come except to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.
Prayer
Dear God, I praise You that Jesus became a man, that I shall have abundant life. That is full life! Today, I rebuke Satan the thief that comes to steal, kill and destroy this abundant and full life. Show me the ways in which this thief works. I submit myself to You God and resist and overcome the Devil today. In the Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen.
DAY 5
1 Peter 5:7
Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
Prayer
Dear God, today I am casting all my cares, all anxieties, all worries, and all concerns, especially about my health on You. I am casting them once and for all on You, for You care for me. I am focusing on You and not on disease and its effects. Thank you for helping me to
cast my cares on you now. In the name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace.
DAY 6
Deuteronomy 30:19
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you, life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore, choose life, that both you and your seed (children) may live.
Prayer
Dear God, thank You for the power of choice. I realize that I am healthy by choice and not by chance. My choices can bring curses, sickness and diseases or health and happiness upon me and my children. In the name of Jesus, empower me to make healthier choices, beginning now. Thank you, Lord! Amen!
DAY 7
1 Corinthians 9:24-25.
And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate (exercises self-control) in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.
Prayer
Dear God, thank You for telling me that self-control (temperance) in the key in winning this battle against sickness and diseases. Help me today to practice self-control in eating & drinking, in resting and exercising and in all things. Give me power to control my appetite, passions and desires. In Jesus’ Mighty Name, I receive Supernatural Power to master my appetite, passion and desires. Praise God!
DAY 8
Ecclesiastes 4:12
And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
Prayer
Dear God, this passage is reminding me of the need to have an accountability partner, as I go through this 10 Day Health Challenge. So, give me the wisdom today to choose the most helpful accountability partner possible. Together, we claim strength and wisdom to successfully complete this 10 Day Health Challenge. Thank you, Lord! In Jesus Name!
DAY 9
Mark 5:27 & 28
27. When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment.
28 For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made Whole.”
Prayer
Dear God, this unnamed woman in mark chapter 5, could be me. She had a disease that the medical establishment could not heal. She suffered for 12 long years; spent all her money on doctors; her money was running out, while her condition was getting worse. She was broken
financially, socially and mentally. Hope was running low before she heard about the Healing Jesus. By faith, she touched Your Garment and was made whole. So, by faith I am touching You today and I am receiving healing in body, mind and spirit. Amen!
DAY 10
Philippians 1:6
Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
Prayer
Dear God, You who started this good work of healing my body, mind and spirit from disease and its effects, will continue restoring me to good health no matter how long it takes. Thank you, Lord, for being able to complete in me that you have started. In Jesus Name.
