"Characteristics of a Healthy Relationship with My Faith
(My God)"

God wants me to be healthy and promises to make me healthy in every aspect of my life

“May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it. (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24)
For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, says the LORD…” (Jer 30:12- 17)

God loves me unconditionally:

That is, God’s love for me is not based on my behavior or performance, my keeping of His commandments, on my gender, profession, the church I belong to, education, holiness, race or religion. He loves me because God is love and before I respond to Him (Rom 5:6--8; John 3: 16; 13:34; 1 Tim 1:12-15.) God wants me to be rooted and grounded in His kind of love-- Calvary's Love. (Eph. 3:17-19.) This gives me self-worth and confidence, which is important to my health.

Put God first in every aspects of my life.

Acknowledge, Confess, and forsake all known sins to God (1John 1:9; Proverbs 28:13):

Accept and operate in this God--kind of love:

Personally I accept God’s love and demonstrate it in my relationships with others (I John 2:9-11; 3:10-18) 2 Cor. 5:13-17; Luke 15:1-2; John 13:34-35)

The Healing Power of God’s Love:
“The love which Christ diffuses through the whole being is a vitalizing power.
Every vital part–the brain, the heart, the nerves–it touches with healing. By it the highest energies of the being are roused to activity. It frees the soul from the guilt and sorrow, the anxiety and care, which crush the life forces. With it come serenity and composure. It implants in the soul, joy that nothing earthly can destroy,–joy in the Holy Spirit,–healthgiving, life-giving joy.” (Ministry of Healing, page 115.3) a It frees me from the fear of judgment and people (1 John 4:17-18)

Live by faith in God., and keep His commandments:

I do this because I love God not to get Him to love me. (1 John 2: 3-6 Heb 11:1, 6 ; 2 Cor 5:7)

Respect and take care of my body, God's temple:

I take care of the Temple by watching what I eat and drink and in whatever I do. I Cor. 6:19-20)
